Septic Modifications & Installation Processes

Aloha can modify a current septic system or tailor a new system for homeowners who want to prevent environmental issues and ensure the long-term function of their septic system.

Septic Installations in the Austin, Texas, Region

We are licensed to install every septic style and every septic brand on the market. We have installed small systems for single bedroom guest houses all the way up to a seventeen acre drip field for the Provence subdivision and its 600 homes off Hamilton Pool Road. There’s no septic system installation too small or too big for Aloha. Call us now to have us consult with you about your septic system.

The installation of a new septic system or modifications to an existing system will involve the following steps.

Septic System Modifications & New Septic Installation Processes

1. A licensed registered sanitarian (RS) or professional engineer (PE) will redesign the existing septic layout and draw up the plan for an install.

2. A septic installer will dig profile holes in the proposed septic area (when required).

3. A licensed site evaluator may not need to file a soil profile report if one already exists in the previous system’s permitted design. But when required, a licensed site evaluator will write a soil classification profile that will be added to the design plan.

4. The RS or PE will then finalize and submit their plans for approval and subsequent permits from the city/county.

5. The permitting authority will approve the plan or respond with requested corrections.

6. When corrections are required, the RS or PE will make all necessary modifications/corrections and resubmit the plans.

7. The permitting authority will, once the plan is approved, issue an approval letter for the OSSF. The septic system may now be constructed.

8. The septic installer will install the new septic system.
